Sharing access to your Google Analytics account is a critical step in collaborating with other members of your team or granting third-party agencies access to your analytics data.
This tutorial will show you how to share, update and revoke a Google Analytics access with Analyzify Team.
Log in to Shopify Admin > “Apps” > “Analyzify”, and then on the app’s dashboard, click “Access Management”.
Turn on the Google Analytics 4 switch. Enter your Google Analytics Measurement ID. Click "Next Step" and sign in with Google.
Check our tutorial to find your ID.
Choose an account to continue to Analyzify - GA4 Data Validation. Click "Allow" and done! You are ready to finish the process.
Click "Finish".
Alternative Way:
We strongly recommend using our automated method for sharing access, which is designed to be compatible with our automation system. However, if you wish to share your access manually, please follow the instructions provided below.
Click "Admin", then click "Account Access Management" in the "Account" column.
Click on "+" and select "Add users".
Add a new user email and assign the role you wish.
If you want to share access with Analyzify, type in gtm2@analyzify.com and assign the Editor role.
If you wish to update any user's role, simply click on the 3 dots next to the user's name, and then click "View user's account details". Here, click the pen icon next to the user's role, select the new role, and click "Save".
Click "Save" and your selected user should receive the invitation shortly.
How to revoke your access?
This tutorial will show you how to remove a user from your Google Analytics account.
Click Admin, and navigate to the desired account.
In the Account or Property column, click Access Management.
Use the search box at the top of the list to find the user you want. Select the check box for each user you want to delete, then click REMOVE.
